After a very successful year so far at SAL’s Cambridge branch, our training courses are now coming to an end for 2016.
Two of our courses, ‘Introduction to Microbiology Testing in Food’ and ‘Introduction to Pesticide Residue Analysis and Legislation’ have proven to be extremely popular this year – and are already almost fully booked for November’s final series.
In addition, next month, SAL are opening up what we hope to be the first of many new microbiology courses at SAL’s Moy branch in Ireland. Our opening one takes place on 26th October 2016 and has only 20 places available, meaning that the event is limited to those on a first come, first served basis.
Introduction to Microbiology Testing in Food‘s final course takes place on Wednesday 23rd November 2016, with guest speak Martin Lewis. The course covers various aspects of microbiology testing, including a basic look at micro-bacteria, their growth, bacterial transfer and food spoilage / safety. This is ideal for Technical and Quality managers within the food and allied industries looking for guidance and information on the relevance of microbiology testing.
Introduction to Pesticide Residue Analysis and Legislation’s final course takes place the day after, on Thursday 24th November 2016, with guest speakers including Dr Naresh Patel, Food Business Development Director for SAL, Shane Swann, Operations Director for SAL and Ian Finlayson, Managing Director of Practical Solutions International. The course covers a whole range of Pesticide Residue regulations, analysis and legislation and is ideal for Technical and Quality Managers within the produce industry looking to become more informed on the relevance of pesticide training.
