Occupational Hygiene is the ‘art’ of investigating, identifying, evaluating and controlling chemical, physical and biological agents which are hazardous to health in the working environment. The objective is to protect the workers’ health and well-being and safeguarding the community as a whole.

Many of the routine tests performed by SAL are UKAS accredited with methods based upon MDHS, OSHA and NIOSH methodologies.
